Following last year’s successful run around the Sunshine State, Gainesville’s beloved night market series, the Bazaar Florida Tour, is back on the road this summer, sharing its signature blend of artisan makers selling handmade goods, artistic and cultural performances, and interactive workshops and activities.

The statewide event series highlighting local vendors and creatives in Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and Tampa kicks off with a return to the Casselberry Arts Center on August 8, 2026, which welcomed nearly 700 guests and 50 vendors during last summer’s market.

The August 8 event will feature 50 artisan makers hailing from Orlando and central Florida, including Off the Rack Market and CITRUSMRKET.

Laila Fakhoury, an event producer and the owner of Gainesville’s Bazaar47, curates and produces the Bazaar Florida Tour alongside Jahi Khalfani. She said it’s their intention to provide supportive space for the creative talent contained within each city the market visits.

“This platform is so experimental that it allows creatives to try something for the first time, experiment with it and showcase it to a very supportive, open community of people who are naturally drawn to these events,” Fakhoury said. “It’s so cool to see the ideas that are tested out at a Bazaar and then live on well after the event is over. This year, several Orlando-area creatives who haven't yet worked together were inspired to collaborate on new projects.”

Casselberry Arts’ airy, 3,000-foot gallery space becomes the dance floor dreams are made of when longstanding Orlando collective CHKN + BEER curates a showcase of high-energy DJ sets. On the walls, a collection of works curated by Damian Jimenez-Lazarte and Teagan Carregal shines a spotlight on Orlando’s visual artists, while a brand-new digital creative collective comprised of P1K, meechiexx and Jonel debuts an interactive, audiovisual experience in conversation with the sounds of the space.

The cozy art house transforms into a home for workshops that guests can join and leave at their leisure: Sonder Sewing will offer a crash-course in sewing; Orlando Collage Club will bring out your inner artist with its collection of physical art materials; Fabiola Cristal will host a press-on nails tutorial; and Rugged Perspective will guide guests through tufting a community rug created especially for the night.

Vendor booths will dot the Casselberry Arts Center’s grassy surroundings, and after the sun sets, a collection of films from Orlando-based filmmakers invites guests to relax while resting on a functional art installation created by SR50 Magazine. “Diaspora,” an exhibition of area film photographers curated by Blownout, a new non-profit in partnership with Not Another Film Lab, explores feeling at home far from one’s homeland. Search Central Florida will be roving around the entire scene snapping film photos and Polaroids, which guests can take home.

Justin Luper, arts and marketing supervisor with Casselberry Arts, called the Bazaar Florida Tour the “most exciting thing you’ll do this summer” for its unique ability to gather diverse crowds in the name of creative and cultural exchange.

“The people who come to these events, who are a part of the event and who make it happen all understand that we’re in this together. I'm talking about this life, this world — no matter who you are or where you’re from,” Luper said. “This event celebrates our differences by including so many types of people, cultures, interests, professions and lives. Teaming up with Bazaar47 has been such a great experience because Casselberry Arts and Bazaar47 are aligned in our efforts to bring people together from different places and industries.”
