This free weekend is the perfect time to visit Orange County Regional History Center in Orlando. On Saturday, March 7, the History Center's monthly offering History Alive will take you into Florida's Natural World. Enjoy family-friendly activities throughout the day and guided tours at scheduled times.

Then on Sunday, it’s a great opportunity to step into a world where imagination takes center stage in the History Center's special exhibition, Animationland, and its companion exhibition, Drawing Magic: Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida. The day will include a panel presentation at 1 p.m. where you'll hear from artists who were part of Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida.

Orlando Museum of Art

At Orlando Museum of Art on Saturday, March 7, enjoy Sketching in the Galleries! Drawing and sketching supplies will be available for artists of all ages to use . Come enjoy a day at the museum and become inspired by artwork in the galleries. Plus, there is a Family Highlights Tours. This docent-led tour provides opportunities for meaningful conversations with your entire family. Follow along with a docent as they take you from gallery to gallery, highlighting various works.

Also on Saturday the museum hosts Art’s The Spark. Through interactive tours of the Museum’s exhibitions, Art’s the Spark gives those living with memory impairment or any other neurological impairment (such as early stage Alzheimer’s disease or Parkinson’s disease) and their healthy caregivers a fun experience, an expressive outlet and an opportunity for adult discussions.
