AJ McLean presents Alexander James - Bringing his The Better Man tour to Orlando on Nov. 22

Founding member of Backstreet Boys, AJ McLean, 48, has announced his first-ever solo run, now performing under his full name Alexander James.
Following the release of his deeply personal debut solo album My Name Is Alexander James, Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean is hitting the road this fall in support of the new music.
The Better Man Tour will be his first-ever North American solo tour under his full given name, and a chance for fans to hear his much-acclaimed new music live.
Kicking-off at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY, on October 20, The Better Man Tour will bring songs from the EP to audiences across the country while also celebrating the music and moments that have defined McLean’s remarkable career.
With more than two dozen shows across the United States, including three shows in Florida, the tour will wrap up in Tucson, AZ on December 5.
The Florida shwos will see AJ take t the stage at The Plaza Live in Orlando on Nov. 22, before a show on Nov. 23 in Clearwater, and a Nov. 24 show in Fort Lauderdale.
Tickets for the Orlando show are on sale Friday, June 26 at 10 am, with a pre-sale on Thursday, June 25 at 10 am, with code - AEG
The tour news comes as McLean continues building momentum around current focus single “Flowers” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Originally emerging as one of the album’s most resonant moments, “Flowers” finds McLean in a more reflective, intentional space. A soulful meditation on presence, appreciation, and expressing love in real time.

For more than three decades, audiences around the world have known McLean as a member of the Backstreet Boys. With My Name Is Alexander James, released earlier this year, Alex has stepped forward under his full given name, unveiling a body of work rooted in honesty, reflection, gratitude, and personal growth.
“This album is about removing the armor. AJ was the performer. Alexander James McLean is the truth. Taking these songs on the road and connecting with fans in a more personal way feels like the natural next step in this journey,” he says.
