Abandoned Mall transformed into massive new Aquarium in Daytona Beach

Visitors to Daytona Beach can now experience an indoor aquarium attraction close to Daytona International Airport.


The Daytona Aquarium and Rainforest Adventure

A new aquarium attraction has opened to the public in Daytona Beach, the massive new tourist attraction is open 7 days a week from 11 am - 6 pm, with last admission 5:15 pm.


The Daytona Aquarium and Rainforest Adventure is the first ever aquarium in Daytona Beach, offering an interactive educational experience featuring animals from both land and sea.


The 55,000-square foot facility is located in an abandoned mall which was home to Burlington Coat Factory on the northwest corner of International Speedway Blvd. and Nova Road in the heart of Daytona Beach.


Within the new 55,000-square-foot space, there is a 110,000-gallon shark tank, plus 40 additional tanks, and a 12,000-gallon stingray touch pool.


There is also habitats for alligators and crocodiles, frogs, and lizards.


The attraction has plans to expand the attraction further, wth an indoor rainforest coming in phase 2 in 2025. The rainforest with include animals such as sloths, armadillos, tamarins, Toucans, and other various types of birds.


Daily admission to Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure is $28.95 for adults and $24.95 for children ages 2-12.


Admission for college students, military/law enforcement members and seniors is $27.95.


Annual memberships is $100 for adults and $80 for kids.
