Local haunted attraction, A Petrified Forrest has been nominated by USA Today 10Best for Best Theme Park Halloween Event in the country, the only Central Florida haunt to receive a nomination in the category.
Spooky season is nearly here, and to celebrate, USA Today 10Best, have announced this years nominees for Best Haunted House/Attraction.
20 top haunted houses and attractions from throughout the country are in the running for the award, with Orlando haunted attraction, A Petrified Forest being the only nominee in Central Florida.
USA Today 10Best Awards asked a panel of experts to nominate their favorite haunted houses and attractions in the country, and from the list of 20 haunts nominated, the winners will be selected by the public, with everyone given the opportunity to vote online.
In nominating A Petrified Forest, USA Today 10Best Awards commented:
A journey through A Petrified Forest takes visitors through three different themed scare trails sure to make your skin crawl. The highlight of each trail is going through a house filled with scare actors, bone-chilling music, and horrifying scenes. As expert Nikky J says, "It's an incredible local haunt in central Florida."
Vote for A Petrified Forest once per day until Monday, September 18 at noon. The winning haunted house/attraction will be announced on Friday, September 29.
