A journey through A Petrified Forest takes visitors through three different themed scare trails sure to make your skin crawl. The highlight of each trail is going through a house filled with scare actors, bone-chilling music, and horrifying scenes.

20 top haunted houses and attractions from throughout the country were in the running for the award, with A Petrified Forest being the only nominee in Central Florida.

USA Today 10Best Awards asked a panel of experts to nominate their favorite haunted houses and attractions in the country, and from the list of 20 haunts nominated, the top 10 winners were selected by the public, with everyone given the opportunity to vote online.

A Petrified Forest is a home grown community attraction, offering three intensely horrifying scare trails set in a genuinely spooky forest location covering around 2 acres.

The trails are long, with uniquely themed rooms and awesome scares around every turn.

The annual Halloween event continues to grow ever year, and now offer a whole night out with great music, food concessions, local art vendors, laser tag, backstage tours, and so much more.
