Universal has announced the last haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2026, and as earlier reported, it's based on the late and great rock icon Ozzy Osborne.

This fall, Halloween Horror Nights, the world’s premier halloween event, returns to Universal Orlando Resort for its 35th Anniversary. Taking place on select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026, HHN is honoring the late rock icon Ozzy Ozborne, who sadly passed on July 22, 2025.
In a fitting tribute to the late Prince of Darkness, both Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort, and Universal Studios Hollywood is giving fans a hauntingly cool way to celebrate the legendary singer this Halloween, with an all-new haunted house inspired by his solo career.
Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness promises to take guests on a wild ride through 45 years of music, inspired by his albums like The Blizzard of Oz, No More Tears and Scream,
The haunted house has been made in collaboration with Osbourne’s family, with Ozzy's widow, Sharon, and their son, Jack commenting in a joint-statement, "Ozzy never stopped pushing boundaries and he loved anything that gave fans a new way to experience his music and the worlds he created,.'
They went on to praise Universal for their work in bringing the haunted house to life “Halloween Horror Nights has done an incredible job bringing that spirit to life. Walking through these haunted houses, you’ll recognize so many moments inspired by his music and imagination. It’s a wonderful tribute to Ozzy and we hope fans have as much fun experiencing it as he would have had seeing it come together.”
At Universal Orlando Resort, guests will step inside “ancient ruins and foreboding dungeons” before a ride on the “Crazy Train” into a world inspired by Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, The Ultimate Sin, and Black Rain.
The haunted house will focus on the heavier sound and sinister imagery that defined Ozzy’s later years in his remarkable career.
Mike Aiello, senior director of entertainment creative development at Universal Orlando Resort commented ,“We are honored to collaborate with the Osbourne family to create a unique haunted house that celebrates the legacy of Ozzy Osbourne,”
He added, “It was important for us to create an authentic experience that brings Ozzy’s creativity and personality to life in an eerily immersive new way. Fans will discover so many meaningful details, including a few Easter Eggs, as they navigate memorable dark and twisted moments inspired by his iconic musical career.”

To coincide with the new Halloween Horror Nights experience, Universal will release a line of limited-edition merchandise inspired by the haunted house, including a T-shirt and acrylic figure.
