HIVE Hospitality's Florida Restaurants now holds the second-highest number of Michelin stars of any hospitality group in the U.S.

HIVE Hospitality, led by Chef Ryan Ratino, have been recognized by the Michelin Guide with 1 star for Ômo by Jônt in Orlando and 1 star for MAASS in Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale!

Additionally, the group is proud to announce that Ômo by Jônt’s Juan Valencia has been awarded the Michelin Sommelier Award. Juan’s journey into wine began while working in restaurants to support himself through college, eventually leading to a life-changing bottle of 2007 Domaine du Pegau Châteauneuf-du-Pape that inspired him to leave school and pursue wine full time.

“The Michelin Sommelier award best represents all the hard work and dedication the HIVE Hospitality team has endlessly put in,” said Juan Valencia, sommelier of Ômo by Jônt.

Chef Ryan Ratino, the driving force behind HIVE Hospitality’s success, continues to push the boundaries of modern dining. At just 35 years old with five Michelin Stars across six venues, Chef Ratino’s accolades cement his position as one of the leading chefs in the United States. Before launching his own concepts, Chef Ratino honed his skills in some of the nation’s most acclaimed kitchens, including Michelin-starred Caviar Russe in New York and WD-50, Dovetail NYC, and minibar by José Andrés. Committed to sustainability, he made Bresca Washington, D.C.’s first carbon-neutral restaurant through ZeroFoodprint. Now, with Ômo by Jônt and MAASS, Chef Ratino continues to redefine fine dining, blending cutting-edge techniques with his signature innovation and passion.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to see both Ômo by Jônt and MAASS recognized by the Michelin Guide,” said Chef Ryan Ratino. “This achievement belongs to the extraordinary teams behind each restaurant whose passion and precision make these experiences possible night after night. Our goal at HIVE Hospitality has always been to create cuisine that feels elegant and approachable, rooted in craftsmanship and innovation, and having that work acknowledged at this level is truly special for us all and for the continued growth of Florida’s culinary landscape.”

Ômo by Jônt, is more than just a dining experience, it is an intimate and exclusive culinary journey, reserved for only 16 guests at a time. Chef Ratino’s approach, combining American and Japanese influences with ingredients sources from around the world, has earned Ômo by Jônt its position as one of the country's best new restaurants, a finalist for the James Beard Award in 2025. Ômo opened The Salon this past year, making Michelin-star dining easily accessible to all, the casual diners looking to dip in for a quick drink and bite. Every dish is a work of art, thoughtfully designed to take guests on a journey through two distinct culinary destinations—turning each meal into an unforgettable adventure.

MAASS offers a dynamic culinary destination in the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale, catering to a wide range of dining preferences. Whether sipping on expertly crafted cocktails or immersing in a meticulously curated multi-course Chef's Counter experience, MAASS promises guests an exceptional culinary journey. MAASS has kept its Michelin star by redefining fine dining—blending innovation with a menu as impeccable as its service.

These accolades build on HIVE Hospitality’s continued success with its other Michelin-recognized concepts. Jônt (Washington, D.C.) has earned two Michelin stars, while Bresca (also in Washington, D.C.) has been awarded one Michelin star and was awarded Michelin Cocktail Program of the Year in 2022. The group’s cocktail and record lounge, The Press Club, was recently recognized as No. 34 on The World’s 50 Best Bars list, further cementing HIVE Hospitality’s influence across both dining and beverage culture. Most recently, the team expanded its Washington, D.C. footprint with the debut of Ox and Olive earlier this month.

Looking ahead, HIVE Hospitality continues to build on its momentum as one of the country’s leading luxury hospitality groups, further expanding its footprint in fine dining and elevated mixology. Following the Michelin recognition of both Ômo by Jônt and MAASS, alongside Jônt and Bresca in Washington, D.C., the group remains focused on pushing culinary boundaries and delivering immersive dining experiences that redefine modern luxury.

As HIVE grows its portfolio of acclaimed concepts, the company is preparing for its next chapter with the upcoming debut of Ôde by Jônt in Los Angeles coming later this year, as well as Studio by Jônt in Nashville, further cementing its vision for innovation-driven hospitality across the United States.
