Grammy Award-nominated songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Wolfgang Van Halen is back with his band, Mammoth (including a small change in name from Mammoth WVH).

Mammoth has dropped new single, The End, an adrenaline-driven rocker that kicks off with a signature lead guitar riff that has become a fan-favorite element in Wolfgang's music.

The anthemic build of the intro gives way to the driving verse melody with each part carefully created and performed by Van Halen and his returning collaborator Michael "Elvis" Baskette.

Wolfgang explains: "I've had the tapping idea on the intro for 'The End' since before Mammoth. I was able to fit it into this world. It's still over-the-top and shreddy, but it's also melodic and controlled. Overall, I was doing some different things on the record, and I knew this was going to be a big step. Once we finished 'The End', it felt really special to me."

To coincide with the new single, and the promise of a new album to come, the band are heading out on a short fall headline tour, including a show in Orlando.

Mammoth: The End Tour will take to the stage at House Of Blues Orlando on Friday, November 7 with special guest Myles Kennedy.

Tickets are on sale Friday, May 9 at 10 am, with a Live Nation Presale on Wednesday, May 7 at 10 am. (Code: FREESTYLE)

First impressions last a lifetime. Wolfgang Van Halen has prepared a lifetime to make his first impression with his solo band Mammoth. The songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist worked tirelessly on material that would become his debut album. Playing every instrument and singing each and every note, his music presents a personal and powerful perspective, balancing memorable hooks and tight technicality.

As many times as audiences have experienced his talent alongside the likes of Tremonti, Clint Lowery, and of course, Van Halen, Wolfgang prepares to step into the spotlight with his own band, Mammoth

“The name Mammoth is really special to me.” says Wolf. “Not only was it the name of Van Halen before it became Van Halen, but my father was also the lead singer. Ever since my dad told me this, I always thought that when I grew up, I’d call my own band Mammoth, because I loved the name so much. I’m so thankful that my father was able to listen to, and enjoy the music I made. Nothing made me happier than seeing how proud he was that I was continuing the family legacy.”
