Celebrate the holiday season in Tampa's Downtown at Winter Village, presented by the Tampa Bay Lightning, in Curtis Hixon Park!
Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park is back for the holidays, now through January 4, 2026. Located along the Tampa Riverwalk, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is transformed with the sights, sounds and activities of the holidays for children and adults of all ages.
Get festive under the twinkling lights, explore the local shops of Winter Village, try delicious food and drinks, skate on real ice, enjoy holiday music, and so much more.

From the theme parks, to the attractions, shopping malls and resort hotels, you will be dazzled with holiday cheer, including the most spectacular events at the theme parks and attractions, glittering community events and parades, plus, magical parties, eats and treats, and so much more!

The Shops of Winter Village
Discover the magic of the season at The Shops of Winter Village Tampa! Nestled in the heart of Curtis Hixon Park, these charming shops, delivered by PODS® Moving and Storage, feature a curated selection of local, small businesses offering unique gifts, handmade goods, and festive finds. Whether you're shopping for family, friends, or a little something for yourself, you're sure to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list!
Café At Winter Village
Taste the spirit of the holiday seasonby visiting the Cafe at Winter Village.

Ice Skating Shows
They're back! Join us for our Tampa Bay Ice Show on select nights, where festive cheer meets breathtaking talent! Set against the stunning backdrop of the Hillsborough River, this enchanting performance will feature our skilled skaters showcasing their artistry and athleticism.

Curling
Curling is available Wednesday through Sunday on a first-come, first-serve basis. Curling operates at the same hours as our food and beverage. Equipment can be picked up from the Winter Village Attendant at the Winter Village event kiosk in exchange for an ID. We ask that play on the court does not exceed 30 minutes to allow other guests the opportunity to play.

Winter Village Express
The Winter Village Express will make its way from Downtown’s Whiting Station to Ybor and back on the TECO Line Streetcar. Join us for this 50 minute, round-trip excursion that is fun for the entire family! Our trip features a holiday sing-a-long, holiday trivia, milk & cookies, and added surprises along the way.
River of Lights
Hop aboard the Pirate Water Taxi for a magical River of Lights Cruise, now departingfrom the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park (Stop #12). New this year, this unforgettableholiday journey will take you down the Hillsborough River to soak in Tampa’s twinkling holiday lights and waterfront decorations.
Silent Disco Fridays
Every Friday from 6-9pm! Silent Discoheadphones are first-come, first-serve.All headphones are the property of the Tampa DowntownPartnership and must be returned.
Tampa's Santa Fest and Tree Lighting
On December 6, the 2025 Santa Fest is back at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park followed by the annual Tampa Tree Lighting.The parade steps off at 1pm beginning at Morgan Street and Madison Street. It travels west on Madison Street to Ashley Drive, turns north and ends at Ashley Drive and Cass Street. Best viewing is along Madison Street.Tampa’s Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 6pm with a concert of familiar Christmas favorites, dazzling dancers, and stage entertainment starring SuperStar Cortni. WFLA Anchor Paola Suro joins Mayor Castor to light the seven beautiful Christmas Trees in the park.Once the trees are lit, a holiday movie will be shown. Admission is free.
Winter Village is free to attend and is open to all ages. The shops and café area feature specialty goods, food and drink for purchase. The ice rink requires paid admission to skate and for ice skating rentals.
