A perfect November evening, a pile of steaming seafood and a cold beer—what could be better? Central Florida residents can make it a reality at Wekiva Island’s annual Seafood Boil, benefitting the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens.

The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person and include a full evening of food and fun, including a pound of jumbo shrimp, steamed clams, corn, potatoes, sausage and three pours of 3 Daughters Brewing beer.

Throughout the evening, guests will also have the opportunity to meet some special animal ambassadors from the Central Florida Zoo. In addition, there will be raffles and a silent auction.

Wekiva Island has long supported the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens and continues to sponsor its North American river otter habitat. The annual Seafood Boil is another way for Wekiva Island to support its Seminole County neighbor while bringing the community together.

“The Seafood Boil is one of our favorite events because it’s just a no-fuss fun time and it supports an organization that means so much to our community,” said Carrie Vanderhoef, Wekiva Island manager and Zoo board member “We’re excited to welcome everyone back and continue supporting the incredible work of the Central Florida Zoo.”

There are limited tickets available. Guests can purchase tickets here.
