Wanna Ride A Float? Universal Orlando reveal full details for the 2024 Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience

The 2024 Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval features a spectacular parade that hits the streets of Universal Studios Orlando in the evening, with colorful parade floats, performers, and of course, beads!

Universal Orlando Resort has revealed detail for the 2024 Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience at the 2024 Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval.

The dazzling floats will be rolling, the colourful performers will be moving to the beat and you have the opportunity to toss beads to the crowd while you make your way through the streets for an unforgettable time.

Being a Bead Thrower means you get to ride on the float, there’s nothing quite like tossing beads at a mass of people cheering to get your attention — it’s SO MUCH FUN and allows for you to be a part of the action. 

Depending on availability, a limited number of Mardi Gras float spots may be available day-of for theme park guests to reserve. However, there is no guarantee that these spots will be available – the only way for regular day guests to guarantee a spot on the float is through the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience.

Universal Orlando Passholders are able to reserve a spot on a Mardi Gras float via Universal's online reservation system. A Mardi Gras Float Ride & Dine purchase is not required.

The Mardis Gras celebration runs from Feb. 3 through April 7 this year at Universal Studios Florida, and the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience includes a three-course meal selected from the full menu at one of four participating restaurants at Universal Orlando Resort.

Guests will be able to choose their meals from the full menus at Finnegan’s Bar & Grill or Lombard’s Seafood Grill at Universal Studios Florida, or The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar or NBC Sports Grill & Bar at Universal CityWalk.

You get to choose one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage.

The experience costs $84.99 per guest +tax per guest (gratuity included)

Annual and Seasonal Passholders can save 15% on the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience if they purchase via Guest Services, Pass Sales, Destination Universal Desks, at the Front Gate.
