Walt Disney World's Blizzard Beach Water Park to close from February 4 - 7 due to Low Temperatures

Central Florida's winter of roller coaster weather will once again see us plunge into the 60s in the days ahead, with Walt Disney World taking the decision to close Blizzard Beach for 4 days.

Cold weather is once again forcing Walt Disney World to close its water park. Guests visiting the resort in the coming days should be aware that Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closed for four days, Sunday Feb. 4 - Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024.

The water park is currently expected to reopen to guests on Thursday, February 8, although this is subject change.

The weekend will start Friday, Feb. 2 with a beautiful and sunny day across Central Florida with highs in the low 70s. This continues through Saturday before wet weather and cold temperatures returns by Sunday morning.

Showers will linger into Monday, but much cooler weather settles in for next week with highs back into the 60s.
