Walt Disney World reveals a June opening date for CommuniCore Hall & Plaza at EPCOT

The multi-year reimagining of EPCOT is finally nearing completion as an opening date has been revealed for CommuniCore Hall and Plaza.

Exciting news from Walt Disney World as the last of the theme parks construction walls will come down very soon!

Today, Thursday, March 21, the resort has announced that CommuniCore Hall and Plaza will open at EPCOT on June 10!

Located in the World Celebration neighborhood, CommuniCore Hall will be home to EPCOT's many festivals and celebrations throughout the year, plus the futuristic building will also be home to a new Mickey & Friends meet and greet location.

CommuniCore Hall will also be a perfect cool indoor space year-round for you and your family to recharge.

In previously revealed concept art for the new CommuniCore Hall. it shows a statue of Figment, a figure of Steamboat Willie, and an Inside Out display, and will feature a demo kitchen, gallery space, and mixology bar.

Once the construction walls come down, CommuniCore Plaza and Inspiration Gardens will feature luscious greenery and relaxing spaces. And that’s not even mentioning the more food and beverages and more entertainment to come.

Everyone will be talking about Bruno from June 10-Sept. 6 because a new summer sing-along featuring the beloved songs and story of “Encanto” is in development now.

This new limited-time show, “¡Celebración Encanto!” runs several times throughout the day and will not only invite you and your family to sing along with some of your favorite songs, but you’ll also spot Mirabel and Bruno on the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage.
