Walt Disney World Announces CLOSURES Due To The Expected Impact Of Hurricane Ian

Walt Disney World has announced the first phase of closures and impacts to Walt Disney World as Hurricane Ian rapidly approaches the west coast of Florida.



Walt Disney World Theme Parks

As of right now, the four main theme parks will REMAIN OPEN and are not currently scheduled to be closed. However, this may change in the coming days due to the path of the storm.


Walt Disney World Resort Hotel CLOSURES

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will temporarily close Wednesday, September 28 through Friday, September 30 2022.


Walt Disney World Waterpark & Recreation CLOSURES

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will close temporarily Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29.


Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will also temporarily close Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29.


Dining & Experience Cancellation Fees Waived

Effective immediately, Disney will not enforce cancelation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences.
