The walk-through Walt Disney Presents attraction in Disney's Hollywood Studios is closing soon for an extended period.
The often overlooked walk-through "Walt Disney Presents" attraction in Disney's Hollywood Studios that allows guests to explore Walt Disney’s legendary legacy through a fascinating multimedia journey that includes rare artifacts is temporarily closing soon.
The attractionwill be closed starting Monday, February 12, 2024, running through Friday, March 1. with Walt Disney Presents set to reopen to guests on Saturday, March 2.
Walt Disney World have not given an exact reason for the closure, but a general refurbishment or a change of props etc in the gallery is the likely reason for the refurb.
Most recently, new props, a photo op, and a sneak peek for “Percy Jackson and the Olympians were added to the experience.
Originally opened to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Walt’s birth, the gallery showcases his life story from small-town America to Hollywood with guests exploring a treasure trove of one-of-a-kind sketches, photos, models, costumes, artwork and more.
After the gallery tour, guests with catch a screening of Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream, a 15-minute documentary that showcases the life and times of the visionary creator. or sneak peeks of upcoming Disney or Pixar films.
Currently you can also meet Ariel from the live action Little Mermaid movie at Walt Disney Presents. it's unclear if this meet and greet will continue or be relocated.
