Universal Orlando to livestream opening celebrations from Universal Epic Universe on May 21

As Universal Orlando Resort gears up for the official opening of its brand new theme park, the resort has confirmed that it will livestream the opening event.

Get ready to join the opening celebrations for the new Universal Epic Universe virtually via livestream on May 21 at 7 pm. EST.

Get ready to step through the portals and celebrate Universal Orlando Resort’s newest theme park.

Blue carpet coverage starts at 6 pm. EST.

Following the opening celebrations on May 21, the park officially opens the following day on May 22.

Universal Orlando fans can sign up for an email reminder to join the virtual livestream and receive updates and offers from the resort.

Although the park does not officially open until May 22, previews to the new theme park have been ongoing for several weeks now, initially to Universal Team Members and their guests, before being extended to Annual and Seasonal Passholders, Military Freedom Pass Ticket Holders, Universal Rewards Signature VISA Card Members, and Universal Orlando Resort Hotel Guests.

Most recently, Single-Day Preview Tickets to Universal Epic Universe have bee available for anyone to purchase.

Guest Previews will end on May 19, to allow for media previews, and time to set up the opening celebrations on May 21.

With a total of more than 50 incredible experiences that range from groundbreaking attractions to captivating entertainment to incredibly themed dining and shopping and so much more, Epic Universe will invite guests to explore five astounding worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.
