Universal Orlando Resort have officially revealed that the every popular Tribute Store for this year's mardi Grand festivities at UnIversal Studios Florida is moving home!
The iconic Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida has become something of an attraction in itself, with fans eager to see the transformation for each seasons events.
Universal Creative cleverly use the space to create a shopping destination that is perfectly themed to the season or event taking place in the park.
For example, during Halloween Horror Nights, guests eagerly await to see how the Tribute Store has been themed into a dark, and creepy, Halloween themed treasure trove of the macabre, with rooms themed to perfection, all telling a story as you walk from room to room.
At the Holidays, The Tribute Store shines brighter than your average Town Square Christmas Tree, with each room revealing another part of an overall story that is cleverly told by the theming throughout the store.
Last year's Mardi Gras Tribute Store was themed to a warehouse building a Mardi Gras float, with each room revealing the build process up until the last room which featured the float that each room before has shown being created.
Now for this year, the Tribute Store is being relocated to the Hollywood Blvd section of the park, utilising the former Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop, The Darkroom, and the former Universal Orlando Passholders Lounge.
No reason has been given for the move, if the former Tribute Store location is being redesigned into a new attraction, dining location, or retail store.
However, it will be interesting to see how the new location affects the size of the Tribute Store, and if the atmosphere of the Tribute Store changes.
