Universal Orlando announces E.T. Adventure is closing temporarily at Universal Studios Florida

Phone home and spread the news! E.T. Adventure is closing temporarily at Universal Studios Florida!!

Sadly this spring there will be no flying with E.T. to his home planet for at least several days!

Universal Orlando Resort has announced that the much loved E.T. Adventure at Universal Studios Florida will be closing for a brief refurbishment in May.

The opening day attraction will close for refurbishment starting May 5, and is expected to last until May 16. As usual with refurbishments, the timeline is subject to change, but right now, E.T. Adventure is scheduled to reopen on May 17, ready for guests to help save E.T.'s home planet!
