Where Culture Meets Artistry: Celebrate Timucua Amplifies Black Voices at the white house!

Timucua Amplifies Black Voices (TABV) is a celebration of Black voices across creative expression in jazz, R&B, and classical music.
While Timucua seeks to honor Black voices year-round, this annual festival returns in February 2026 to lift up Black voices in our community with world-class musical performances.

Timucua Amplifies Black Voices Weekend One; Weekend One Pass
K.I.M. Cool Contemporary Jazz (Friday, February 13th @7:30pm): Rooted in the rhythmic soul of Chicago, this dynamic, genre-fusing band brings the soundtrack to your momentum. K.I.M. (Keeping It Moving) weaves together a bold tapestry of styles—jazz, funk, soul, R&B, hip-hop, rock, and beyond—blurring boundaries and reimagining what modern fusion sounds like.

Assel Jean-Pierre Trio (Saturday, February 14th @7:30pm): Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the white house! Fusing classical, jazz, and Caribbean styles, Haitian piano virtuoso Assel Jean-Pierre will deliver both originals and jazzed renditions of classic works, creating a dynamic and intimate atmosphere to enjoy the holiday in a special way.
Timucua Amplifies Black Voices Weekend Two; Weekend Two Pass

Fragrance of Yah (Friday, February 20th @7:30PM): Transcend to a place of cognitive safety and vibe to soulful vocals. Together with the Cosmic Energy Band, Fragrance of Yah infuses positive vibrations into every set of selected covers and original music that she performs, blending the sonic with the divine.

Ari & Cecil Alexander Quartet (Saturday, February 21st @7:30PM): The Ari & Cecil Alexander Quartet brings a swinging selection of R&B, soul, and jazz originals along with reimagined classics for an intimate yet highly energetic night of music.
