Jazzheads, it’s that time of year again: Timucua’s annual Month of Jazz festival! Blending bold, modern fusions with timeless, soulful traditions, the month of April will feature a diverse program schedule that’s sure to bring a groovy, swingin’ good time!


Join us for an evening of storytelling, good company, and even better conversation as we chat with lifelong friends of Sam Rivers, Doug Matthews, and other members of the Rejuvenation Orchestra! Come enjoy a glass of wine and hear dynamic, firsthand stories from Benoit Glazer, Doug Mathews, Mike Iapichino, Matt Gorney, Anthony Cole, and Rick Lopez - esteemed author and the world’s leading expert on Sam Rivers! 


Tuesday Again is an experimental jazz fusion trio

Tuesday Again is an experimental jazz fusion trio delivering an immersive, genre-blurring experience that’s as cerebral as it is soulful. Whether in the studio or on stage, the trio crafts music that defies expectation and invites deep listening, blending jazz tradition with modern sonic exploration.


A jazz quartet fronted by rising jazz star Ryan Devlin. 


Miami-based Josh Chapple leads this big band of the best musicians in Florida as they play works of the greatest composers of American Big Band history, as well as some Chapple originals.

Anthony Stanco Quintet

A trumpet virtuoso from Southeast Michigan, Anthony Stanco draws from Detroit’s rich musical legacy. Leading his quintet to share his new album, Stanco’s Time, this seasoned performer showcases his evolving sound with a stellar lineup including Joe Farnsworth and Rodney Whitaker. 


There are two sides to the musical personality that make up Dylan McHann – composition and improvisation. Together with his quartet - including Tal Cohen, Vince DuPont, and Lucas Apostoleris - Dylan builds off of the work of jazz legends to make fresh, innovative sounds that are personal, timeless, and most importantly – swinging! 


Dion Kerr Trio

Dion Kerr is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and conceptual artist blending jazz, avant-garde, classical nylon guitar, and ambient textures influenced by South Florida’s music scene. A dynamic presence in contemporary music, he has shared the stage with artists such as Ignacio Berroa and Marcus Strickland’s Twi-Life.
