Timucua Arts Foundation introduces Timucua Talks: A new speaker series in Central Florida

Let's Talk About It Orlando - Introducing Timucua Talks...

Timucua Arts Foundation has announced the start of an exciting new program, Timucua Talks! Having been a hub for some of the most talented and knowledgeable artists in the world these past 25 years, we are rounding together inspiring speakers to host monthly discussions on the most relevant topics in the arts community. 

All are welcome - artists and art-appreciators alike. Timucua Talks is an inclusive space for people to share varied perspectives on provocative topics in an environment built on understanding and mutual respect. Come learn from local experts and engage in insightful discussions related to art, mental health, AI, and more! 

Join Timucua as they kick off our exciting new monthly series on Wednesday, April 1st at 7:30 pm with Stories of Sam Rivers - an evening of storytelling, good company, and even better conversation. Come enjoy a glass of wine and hear dynamic, firsthand stories from lifelong friends of Sam and members of the Rejuvenation Orchestra including Benoit Glazer, Doug Mathews, Mike Iapichino, Matt Gorney, Anthony Cole, and Rick Lopez - esteemed author and the world’s leading expert on Sam Rivers! 

Timucua Arts Foundation is proud to partner with The Central Florida Pledge to host this new series as we strive together towards community growth, learning, and respect. “On behalf of the Central Florida Pledge network, we are enthused by the prospect of exploring the core Pledge tenants of Dignity and Respect through the lens of music-making, the universal language that expresses our shared humanity,” says RK Kelley, Vice President of the Pledge when we asked about this exciting new project.
