This years themes revealed for the runDisney 2023 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon

Get your race weekend appetite ready as runDisney prepares to whisk you off into a journey of good food and good company during the 2023 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend’s Banquet Bash!

runDisney have today, Thursday March 9 revealed the themes f!or this years races!

This year’s delectable event serves up “courses” inspired by memorable Disney dinner (and tea) parties and favorite moments found around the table.

Add a little extra seasoning with an exciting post-race party to celebrate with friends and family at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and you have a delicious race weekend to remember!

Let’s take a first look… or rather a first bite… at the individual event themes:

Disney Wine & Dine 5K Racers, prepare yourselves for a spin around EPCOT with Alice, the Mad Hatter and all their Wonderland friends from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Alice in Wonderland” during the 2023 Disney Wine & Dine 5K. Enjoy a 3.1-mile tea-party adventure as you make a mad dash to the finish line and celebrate a very merry un-birthday with your newly earned finisher medal.

Disney Wine & Dine 10K Be our racing Guest and put our 6.2-mile course to the test as the dining room proudly presents the 2023 Disney Wine & Dine 10K! Set out on a race day adventure in the great wide somewhere with Lumiere, Cogsworth and the other enchanted castle residents from Disney Animation’s “Beauty and the Beast.”

Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Get ready for a fantastical and magical 13.1-mile journey through Walt Disney World Resort during the 2023 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon! Participants are invited to pull up a chair at the family table as they join Mirabel and the rest of the family Madrigal from Disney Animation’s Academy Award®-winning “Encanto” to discover that when they push through the surface pressure, there’s no limit to what else they can do.

Disney Two Course Challenge Let your imagination (and endurance) run wild as you head to Figment’s Open House for a visit into his topsy-turvy kitchen during the 2023 Disney Two Course Challenge. Participants will need just one spark of inspiration to complete both the Disney Wine & Dine 10K and Half Marathon, for a total of 19.3 miles, and earn a specialty challenge medal.

Whether you’re looking for motivation to train for a future runDisney race or get a taste of the magic wherever you run, virtual race events are a great way to reward yourself for staying active!
