Millie Second, a great inventor from another time, has landed herself in the modern-day and she’s not quite sure how she got here, where she came from or how to get home. To top it all off, her time machine, The Chord Explorer, won’t start and her instruction manual is missing a few key pages. Only the musical minds of our maestro, musicians and audience can help refuel the broken machine and return our fearless inventor to her home era. But the journey won’t be without some tuneful twists and turns. From the Renaissance to the Roaring ’20s, from the space race to the gold rush, this melodic adventure will have you asking not “Where will we go next?” but “When?!” This program is presented by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in partnership with Orange County Public Schools and performed for over 65,000 local public-school students annually.

Oktoberfest is back, and better than ever at The Oviedo Amphitheatre in Center Lake Park! This three day festival event features authentic German beer, food, music, entertainment, contests and more! Orlando Trachtenverein and King Guys Oktoberfest Brass Band will be the featured performers.

Prost! Oktoberfest Weekend is taking over Boxi Park September 24-27. Lace up Thursday for Boxi Park Run Club, catch the keg tapping at Lake Nona Town Center Friday, and join us on Saturday for a best dressed costume contest, pretzel ring toss, and human wheelbarrow race. Live entertainment, great food, and cold drinks all weekend long. Grab your friends and family and head to Boxi Park for a weekend of bier, brats, and Bavarian fun!

Sir Henry's kicks off this weekend!!! The one of a kind outdoor haunted attraction, Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is a not-to-be-missed horror theme park in Plant City. The attraction which is celebrating 13 seasons of fear contains multiple haunted trails, escape games, a haunted hayride, laser tag, food vendors, a gift shop, axe throwing, and a common area that features an ornate centerpiece with wandering scare actors.

The F-22 headlines a full afternoon of military demonstrations, aerobatic performances, and patriotic aviation excitement.

Wekiva Island, The Seminole County eco-venue is inviting Central Floridians to trade everyday routines for an evening of tropical fun during its annual Kona Luau. The Island tradition returns Saturday, Sept. 26, bringing Hawaiian-inspired entertainment, food and festive activities to the banks of the Wekiva River.
