Top 10 Things To Do In Orlando This Week, May 5 - 11, 2025
May 5
Bring your little ones and dive into a world of books! This free indoor event is perfect for families with infants to preschool-age children. Enjoy stories and songs that will entertain and engage your kids. Plus, explore the beautiful Gardens with free admission all day!
Orange County residents are invited to stop by the library’s book bike to register for cards and check out items. The book bike will be available on the first Monday of each month between 10 am and 11.30 am.
May 5
Join the Promenade at Sunset Walk’s for their 5th annual Cinco De Mayor Street Party and Celebration, featuring: Nonstop Live Music Celebration with Rhythm Me Up and Osaka Fall live on two performance stages. DJ Gabriel and DJ K1X spinning the very best pop, Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, and more. Street performers including The Tres Amigos. Food and beverage specials including flowing margaritas and mojitos.

Take a stroll through the galleries with infants and toddlers in tow! Join a Museum educator for a one-hour tour of OMA with lively discussion and engaging experiences. Crying and chatty babies are welcome! Both babies and adults can gaze at colorful and intriguing works of art without the fear of being disruptive. This tour offers something for everyone! Sponsored by Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies.

Trash 2 Trends returns for it's 10th anniversary! Join us for a night of fun and fashion in support of Keep Orlando Beautiful. Orlando's talented artists turn Trash into Trends at this fashion show featuring materials otherwise destined for the landfill. Which design will walk away with the top prize? Enjoy the Orlando Science Center exhibits and dinner from 4Rivers Smokehouse during cocktail hour, then head into Dino Digs for the main event! Don't forget to bring your gently used clothing and other items for donation to Goodwill at the door! This event supports Keep Orlando Beautiful Inc, an environmental education and community beautification non-profit.

The City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board is excited to host a newly created market -Luminary Market. This monthly market, hosted the first Wednesday of each month, showcases between 20 to 25 unique vendors, featuring local favorites and curated goods, all designed to celebrate and support the growing Creative Village community of residents, students and workers.In addition to the shopping experience, visitors are encouraged to stay for KaleidoScope 360°, produced by Global Peace 360°, an outdoor movie series hosted the same evening. This family-friendly film event will further establish Luminary Green Park as a cultural hub, bringing together community members to enjoy films under the stars. This month's movie is Crazy Rich Asians

Singing sensation and actress, Lea Michele brings her intimate North American Tour to Orlando, performing songs from throughout her career. The Glee star's spring tour follows her sold-out debut at Carnegie Hall in October, and a triumphant year-long run playing the title role of Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl. Michele promisies to take attendees on a musical journey through her extraordinary career. Michele will perform fan-favorite hits from Glee, a range of Broadway numbers, including Funny Girl, and more. Lea Michele will take to the stage at Hard Rock Live Orlando on Thursday, May 8, 2025!
