Top 10 Things To Do In Orlando This Week, August 4 - 10, 2025

August 4
Join Leu Gardens and the Orange County Library System (OCLS) on July 7, 2025, as we celebrate our 20-year partnership with a fun-filled, family-friendly event from 9 am - 1 pm at the Gardens. And, it is free for all!

August 6
The City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board is excited to host a newly created market -Luminary Market. This monthly market, hosted the first Wednesday of each month, showcases between 20 to 25 unique vendors, featuring local favorites and curated goods, all designed to celebrate and support the growing Creative Village community of residents, students and workers. In addition to the shopping experience, visitors are encouraged to stay for KaleidoScope 360°, produced by Global Peace 360° and presented by the Orlando Downtown Development Board and Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, an outdoor movie series hosted the same evening. This family-friendly film event will further establish Luminary Green Park as a cultural hub, bringing together community members to enjoy films under the stars. August's Movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

August 6
The Orlando Police Department and District 3 Commissioner Robert F. Stuart invite you to join them at College Park Neighborhood Center and Pool, 2393 Elizabeth Avenue, Orlando, as they celebrate safety with a splash. Enjoy an evening of: Open swimmiing, free food and drinks, bounce houses, basketball with a Cop, Fire Station 3 tours. Learn about safety while having fun!

August 8 - 10
It's an ANIMATION CELEBRATION at GalaxyCon Presents ANIMATE! ORLANDO. Get ready for 3 days of anime, animation, cosplay, and more! We feature entertainment, Q&As, video and tabletop gaming, panels, costume contests, cosplay wrestling, and so much more fandom for you to explore.

August 8
Summer Fridays is a brand new free community series happening at The Plaza Live! Every Friday night in August, the’re turning up the vibe with a live DJ, local vendors, and your favorite Orlando food trucks parked right outside. Come cool off on your Summer Fridays inside the historic venue where you can browse and shop from unique local vendors, sip a cold drink, and enjoy the energy of great music and community vibes all night long. Then head outside to grab some delicious eats from rotating food trucks under the summer sky.

August 8
Bring the whole family to celebrate back to school with Star 94.5 at Island H2O Water Park on Friday, August 8. Join Star 94.5 for a family-friendly Back to School Splash at Island H2O Water Park! Celebrate the end of summer with live music from DJ Kyle LaRue, epic foam fun, and of course, full access to ALL the water attractions!

August 9
The Plaza Live is hosting Sol y Sabor: A Celebration of Culture & Music, a brand new event by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra! Celebrating the culture & music of Latin America with Orlando Philharmonic musicians joining featured guest artist are Mariachi Perlas de Orlando, an all-women mariachi band with members from San Antonio and Orlando. Enjoy exciting mariachi arrangements that will have you dancing on your feet! Arrive early to enjoy latin-inspired food trucks before the event. Then, head into the Palmer Room for an intimate performance.

August 9
Kick back with Cars & Country on Saturday, August 9, from 5 - 9 pm in Hamlin. The streets will be lined with classic cars, enjoy live country music by Jaclyn Hayden, and savour eats and drinks from tasty local food trucks. Cap off the night with Disney fireworks over Lake Hancock—bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the view. Dust off your boots and bring that cowboy spirit—this Free Event is one you won’t want to miss!

August 10
Kesha has announced The Tits Out Tour, a major run of concerts set to take place at arenas and amphitheaters throughout North America in support of Kesha's upcoming album, Period. The Tits Out Tour kicks off July 1, through an August 10 finale at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa, with special guests Scissor Sisters, plus rising UK artist Rose Gray joining the tour as support.

August 10
The Florida Vintage Market is a unique outdoor shopping experience in the heart of downtown Orlando with over 30 local vendors where you will find a curated variety of vintage clothing, food trucks, drinks, and so much more!
