The iconic love story found in The Notebook is coming to Orlando, with audiences able to experience the heartfelt story of Allie and Noah live on stage.
The latest AdventHealth Broadway in Orlando 25/26 season production to hit the stage at Dr Phillips Center's Walt Disney Theater is The Notebook, with the Tony and Grammy-nominated musical, The Notebook taking to the stage from May 12 - 17, 2026.
Based on the best-selling novel that inspired the iconic film, The Notebook tells the story of Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, who share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart.
“Full of butterfly-inducing highs and beautiful songs”, The Notebook is a deeply moving portrait of the enduring power of love. Chris Jones of The Chicago Tribune says The Notebook is “absolutely gorgeous, not to be missed,” and The New York Daily News calls it “a love story for the ages.”
The Notebook is directed by Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, Next to Normal, RENT) and Schele Williams (The Wiz, Aida), and features music and lyrics by multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, a book by Bekah Brunstetter (NBC’s This Is Us) and choreography by Katie Spelman.

The Notebook is based on the book that has sold millions of copies worldwide and a film that is one of the highest-grossing romantic dramas of all-time, with the musical adaptation of The Notebook opening on Broadway at the Schoenfeld Theatre in March 2024 following a critically acclaimed world premiere engagement at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in the fall of 2022.
The production was recognized with three 2024 Tony Award nominations (Best Book of a Musical, Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical), Drama League Award nominations for Outstanding Production of a Musical, two Distinguished Performance Awards and the Founders Award for Excellence in Directing, Drama Desk Award nominations for Outstanding Featured Performance in a Musical, and an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Performer in a Broadway Musical.
