The Salvation Army, Orlando Area Command serve a delicious Thanksgiving Meal to thousands

Through the efforts of the The Salvation Army, Orlando Area Command and the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, thousands of people here in Orlando enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving meal.



The Salvation Army, Orlando Area Command has served up a traditional feast, today, Thursday, November 23, officially the Eric and Diane Holm Thanksgiving Meal, presented by Dave & CJ Harris, the event took place at 440 W. Colonial Drive, the Salvation Army Orlando Area Command.

Valencia College culinary chef-instructors and culinary students prepped 2,200 pounds of turkey for the Thanksgiving Day meal.


Teams of students and volunteers have been working hard to prepare more than 8,000 traditional Thanksgiving meals for the individuals and families that enjoyed the delicious Thanksgiving meal!
