The Salty is celebrating this week with limited-time birthday specials available at all locations, including a Funfetti Birthday Cake donut and Birthday Cake Latte.

The Salty is turning 10 and the celebration is going nationwide! Founded in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District in 2015, The Salty began as a weekend pop-up out of a 1950s Aljoa camper, serving donuts unlike anything the city had ever seen.


Today, the brand has 20 locations across Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas, and has earned national recognition as one of the best donut shops in America. From the very beginning, The Salty has set out to reimagine what a donut shop could be: a place where craft, creativity and hospitality meet, and where every menu item is treated like a chef-driven experience.


“We still pinch ourselves when we think about how far this little idea has come,” said Amanda Pizarro Rodriguez, co-founder of The Salty. “Ten years ago, we hoped people would show up and love what we were creating. Today, we’re celebrating something so much bigger. The communities that embraced us, the team that grew with us, and the guests who continue to inspire every new flavor, every special release, coffee creation and every dream we chase.”

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, The Salty is rolling out limited-time birthday menu items across all locations until December 7, including:


  • Funfetti Birthday Cake Donut: Vanilla cake donut with vanilla bean glaze, topped with Crunchies all-natural rainbow sprinkles ($4.75)

  • Birthday Cake Latte: Vanilla bean latte with housemade vanilla cold foam, topped with Crunchies all-natural rainbow sprinkles ($7)



n addition, the brand is launching its first-ever shippable product: Donut Bread Pudding Pints, a first-of-its-kind dessert that turns The Salty’s iconic brioche donuts into a warm, gooey, made-from-scratch treat that can be enjoyed at home.

Available for nationwide order starting December 3, the limited-edition 4-pack features:


  • Brown Butter & Salt - Brown, nutty and aromatic butter folded through custard to create a deeply caramelized, ultra-buttery bread pudding that feels both simple and wildly indulgent

  • Banana & Chocolate Chunk - Fresh-cut bananas and big pieces of rich chocolate melted into brioche cubes as they bake, giving a perfect mix of fruit, warmth and ooze in every bite

  • Gooey Chocolate Cookie - Homemade chocolate cookies made from scratch with cocoa powder, butter, sugar and eggs, folded with warm custard and brioche cubes

  • Guava & Cheese - A Miami classic reimagined. Bright guava and silky cream cheese ribbons swirl through the custard and brioche, baking into a sweet-tart, creamy flavor that tastes like home
