A celebration of romance, community, and storytelling is coming to Winter Park Library.

Romance readers, book lovers, and aspiring writers are invited to Love on the Page, a two-part literary celebration taking place on Saturday, January 24th, at the Winter Park Library.
Hosted by Orlando’s own romance bookstore, The New Romantics, this special event brings together award‑winning and critically recognized authors for an afternoon of conversation, connection, and book signings centered on the joy and stories that highlight the power of love.
Both sessions will be moderated by Carla Peterson (@carla_is_reading), a local book influencer known for her passionate support of diverse voices in the romance genre.
Diverse stories allow readers to step into experiences beyond their own and see the world through a wider lens and/or a different perspective. They also ensure that every reader can find characters who reflect their identity, their heritage, and their lived reality. By curating shelves filled with voices from across backgrounds and genres, The New Romantics aims to create a space where everyone feels welcome, represented, and inspired.
