Mount Dora will come alive this weekend with an eclectic display of arts and crafts, as the 39th Annual Mount Dora Craft Fair takes over the streets of downtown this weekend.
Held on the streets of historic downtown Mount Dora, FL. 230 W. 4th Ave Mount Dora, the 39th Annual Mount Dora Craft Fair takes place this weekend, October 28 - October 29, 2023.
Ranked one of the best craft festivals in America. The Mount Dora Craft Festival will feature almost 400 of the best exhibitors in the country ready to show and sell their fine and fun crafts at this annual event.
Festival food, music, beer, wine, cocktails and some special guest appearances will round out the event.
The Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts was originally known as the Mount Dora Antique Show that took place in conjunction with the Antique Boat Show on the shores of Lake Dora in March.
This event was created in 1997 to draw people attending the Boat Show into town to help the downtown businesses.
When the boat event moved to nearby Tavares, FL the event evolved into the Spring Collectibles and Crafts Show. Today the event has no antique or collectible dealers. It features all hand craft items and original art but still draws thousands of people to downtown Mount Dora, as was the original intent of the event organizers.
The Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts is presented by Visit Mount Dora.
