The Great Southern Box Company is celebrating Cinco de Mayo, the Kentucky Derby and more

Whether you're celebrating Cinco de Mayo, wanting to watch the Kentucky Derby, there's fun and food for everyone at The Great Southern Box Food Hall .

The Great Southern Box Food Hall, located in the Packing District at 2105 N Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, is celebrating the first week of May in a big way! 

A Cinco de Mayo celebration is taking place Saturday through Sunday (May 3rd and 4th). On Saturday, guests can enjoy Cinco de Mayo themed music spun by a DJ from 1 - 4 pm. and again from from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Drink specials will be available.   

On Sunday, from noon until 5 pm, guests can enjoy a Mariachi band (2 - 3 pm), a DJ (noon - 2 pm and 3 pm 5 pm), and a variety of drink specials including:

$25 Margarita or Sangria pitchers

$20 Mexican Beer buckets

Modelo and Tequila Shot for $8 (with proof of food purchase)

A second Tequila Cocktail for $1 (with proof of food purchase)

While the food hall will be closed on Monday, the Cinco de Mayo party picks up again on Tuesday (May 6th) with a Cinco de Mayo “Hangover” event that includes a DJ from 6 - 9 pm.; $15 buckets of beer, and a second tequila cocktail for $1 with proof of a food purchase.         

Kentucky Derby (Saturday, May 3rd):  The Great Southern Box Company will be showing the fastest two minutes in sports and offering special Kentucky Derby Mint Juleps for $14. 

Nurses and Teachers Week (May 5th - 12th): Nurses and teachers will be able to receive a 10% discount by showing their employee ID badge (or using a school/hospital related email address).
