The European leader in Drone Shows, Dronisos expands to Orlando to be close to Area Theme Parks!

The French drone compny responsible for spectacular drone shows at Disneyland Paris is setting up in Orlando, could this mean drone shows are coming soon to Orlando's theme parks? Probably!!

The Eurpoean leader in Drone Shows, Dronisos has established an office in Orlando with speculation that the company is helping both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort finally introduce spectacular drone shows to its theme parks, and given that the company already produce all the drone shows for Disneyland Paris, its very exciting news!

Dronisos, the innovative French drone entertainment company renowned for its spectacular light shows, has expanded to Orlando, establishing its first North American office close to both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.

Laurent Perchais, Dronisos CEO, commented "Given Orlando’s status as the global hub of amusement parks, it was a natural choice for Dronisos’s U.S expansion."

It will be interesting to see when Dronisos's work will be intergrated into Orlando theme parks in the future, there has long been speculation that Walt DInsey World want to introduce drones to its nighttime spectaculars, and we know that Universal Orlando is already working on a drone show for Universal Studios Florida, and that rumours point to drones playing a big part in the new nightly entertainement coming to Universal's currently under construction Epic unverse which is set to open in 2025.

Founded in Bordeaux, France, in 2016, Dronisos swiftly ascended to prominence in the global drone light show industry. Known for orchestrating the largest drone show in Europe at Disneyland Paris, which featured an impressive fleet of 1,500 drones, the company has also illuminated iconic landmarks like the Colosseum in Rome and Mont-Saint-Michel in France. 

Dronisos holds a unique position as the sole drone show company specializing in providing entertainment to theme parks worldwide, excelling in both indoor and outdoor environments. Distinguished by its end-to-end ownership of its ecosystem, from constructing drones to developing software and control systems, the firm stands out as a trusted partner to major theme parks and event organizers, allowing for rapid innovation. 

Strategically situated at 9100 Conroy Windermere Rd, Windermere, FL, the office will serve as Dronisos’s U.S. regional headquarters and sales office, with plans for a Drone Show Academy at a local airfield currently underway. The newly established Orlando office is expected to generate new jobs.  

To mark this momentous occasion, Dronisos will collaborate with the City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board for a dazzling drone show at Lake Eola Park on December 23, 2023, at 8 p.m. This world premiere event, designed for families, promises a heartwarming holiday journey with colorful LED-lit drones crafting themed designs in the night sky.

The Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP) played a pivotal role in supporting Dronisos’s expansion, providing essential information on sites, market data, research, connections to local partners, and assistance with drone regulations. 

“Innovative companies like Dronisos expanding in our region enhance our community’s economic landscape and reinforce Orlando’s status as a destination for cutting-edge industries,” said Tim Giuliani, President and CEO of the OEP.  

Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings expressed his excitement, stating, “Dronisos’ expertise and expansion aligns with our vision for Orange County as the ‘Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.’”
