In honor of Orlando’s 150th anniversary, the Orange County Regional History Center offers a glimpse into some of the most fascinating and rarely seen items from the city’s history with our newest special exhibition, Orlando Collected.
June 6 - January 6
Dawoud Bey’s Evergreen depicts haunting images captured at the Evergreen Plantation of Wallace, Louisiana. Installed across three video channels, the work scans the grounds of the most intact plantation complex still standing in the United States. The work captures swaths of trees and the remnants of living quarters of the historically enslaved Black people.

The exhibition includes 100 watercolors by FWS members selected by a distinguished juror, award-winning watercolor artist, Matthew Bird, whose work has been featured in major art magazines.

A powerful photographic exploration of youth incarceration in the United States as seen through the lens of Richard Ross. Through stark, intimate images and first-person testimonies, this exhibition exposes the realities faced by minors caught within a punitive justice system, often before they are old enough to vote, drive, or be heard.

Jason Chin (American, born 1978) has written and illustrated award winning children’s books, including Redwoods, Grand Canyon, and Your Place in the Universe. His paintings in Watercress, alongside storytelling by Andrea Wang, garnered a 2022 Caldecott Medal. With a love for scientific wonders, he has illuminated the mysteries of coral reefs, redwood trees, the Galápagos Islands, gravity, and the elemental particles that make us who we are.

Experience Contemporary (Myth and Storytelling) is a group exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and printed materials, featuring four contemporary Florida artists, curated by Justin Luper. The exhibit is on display at Casselberry Arts Center.

At Harvest Holler located at 950 Tavares Rd., Polk City, experience a real working family farm with animals, activities, corn maze and of course a pumpkin patch. Harvest Holler is a place where you can explore nature, have adventures outside and unplugged. Relax and enjoy the slow-paced farm life: Sit on a hay bale, drink some true southern sweet tea or lemonade and relish the time with your family.

The Fall Pumpkin Patch is the perfect spot for family fun and time with friends. With every admission, guests will receive one free pumpkin to take home. Along the way, you can meet and snuggle our friendly farm animals, play in the corn box, climb up on our tractors, and race down the haywagon slides. Little artists will love leaving their mark in the chalk barn, and the always-popular bunny barn is waiting for visits and cuddles. Families can unwind on a tractor-pulled ride through shady trees, spread out under the wide-open skies, and even bring along a picnic to enjoy.
For even more farm fun, you’ll have the choice to feed the four-legged friends and saddle up for a classic pony ride.

Orlando’s immersive vampire theatrical experience is back for a thrilling heart-pacing firth year at The Renaissance Theatre! Loosely inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula and other classic vampire lore, Nosferatu is where the vampires roam. Enter a place where the rules of space and time do not exist; where a Choosing Ceremony decides the newest member of the Coven; and where the Undead roam looking for their next seduction. Enter the Ren near downtown Orlando, then free roam through an unusual series of rooms where bloodthirsty performance artists lure you deeper into the story. In DRAGONS: Hidden Treasure Quest, each guest becomes a brave “seeker,” equipped with a special map filled with clues and legendary lore. Follow the trail, solve the riddles, and uncover ancient artifacts as you search for the hidden treasure—but tread carefully! The relics left behind tell the story of the dragons who founded this very kingdom. Are you clever enough to unlock the secrets and find the treasure?

Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights is the home of horror with the biggest names in the genre. Endure 10 haunted houses, scare zones and more. SeaWorld’s Spooktacular is back with fun surprises, candy, costumes and more! Kids love trick-or-treating (with purchase of reusable bag) during this daytime event as they explore our decorated trail and meet colorful characters. Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream returns in full force, taking over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, sinister shows and more. This years after-hours event features more than 25 terrifying experiences including 2 NEW haunted houses, 3 NEW sinister scare zones, ghoulish shows and unrelenting park-wide horrors. This is Tampa Bay’s most frightening adult Halloween event.

The one of a kind outdoor haunted attraction, Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is a not-to-be-missed horror theme park in Plant City. The attraction contains multiple haunted houses (aka haunted trails), escape games, laser tag, food vendors, a gift shop, axe throwing, and a common area that features an ornate centerpiece with wandering scare actors. Each event either features two or three open trails with a different theme or story for each session that the haunt is open. Plus, don't miss the haunted hayride!

Pumpkins at Santa’s Tree Farm located at 5317 Huff Road, Eustis are fresh picked, and then displayed in a shaded lot to help preserve their freshness. There is so much to enjoy here including barnyard animals, horse and pony rides, hay rides, bounce pillow, giant slide, barrel train rides, mazes and play areas.

August 15 - October 31, Various Dates
Take in spooky sights and Halloween delights at Magic Kingdom park—select nights from August 15 to October 31, 2025. New this year: Meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse together at Town Square Theater. Rediscover Storybook Circus—transformed into a happy haunt for families with younger children. And have monstrous fun at a dance party inspired by the film ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires. Burn off steam on the playground, take a hayride or even a haunted monster truck ride. The Magical Maze has thirteen scary monster pictures hidden throughout…find them all and win a prize! The giant culvert slide, barrel train rides, trike track, duck races and so much more are available in the Jolly Acres play area. Jack’s Barnyard petting zoo is the place to visit with all of their farm animal friends, and experience some of the animals up close in the animal encounter areas. The New Universal After Dark Water Theme Park Event Volcano Bay Nights returns with shorter wait times, a beach party vibe, exclusive access and seasonal character meet and greets make Volcano Bay Nights the event you want to attend while at Universal Orlando. This is a separately ticketed event and is not included with daytime theme park admission.

On select nights from Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, Pirates Dinner Adventure will host Vampirates, a Halloween-themed dinner show suitable for ghouls and goblins of all ages. You’ll witness daring stunts, dynamic duels and sensational swordplay, all while enjoying a three-course meal.

Join Lake Catherine Blueberries at the farm for their fall festivities. The farm, located at 5849 Lake Catherine Rd, Groveland will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Community United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch at 4921 S US Highway 17/92. Casselberry has been a CUMC tradition for over 25 years. During the month of October, thousands of people pass through their patch. Not only is the pumpkin patch a fundraising effort, but it also serves as an outreach for the community. Granny Pumpkin talks and sings with children's groups visiting our campus, sharing with them the story of salvation, while the children sit among the bales of hay and pumpkins.

Hagerty Farms Pumpkin Patch (not a farm!), located at Oviedo High School, 3225 Lockwood Blvd. Oviedo, you'll discover pumpkins, gourds, more pumpkins and all pumpkins, just pumpkins of all kinds! This is a great spot for seasonal family pictures too.

INK! is a rotating exhibition of the Contemporary American Graphics Collection featuring limited edition lithographs, etchings, etc at Orlando Museum of Art.

Before women’s soccer captured the world’s attention, the 17 athletes of the first U.S. Women’s National Team helped lay the foundation for the global success the sport enjoys today. Through striking portraits by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Randy Bacon, The 85’ers captures the authenticity, strength, and tenacity of these groundbreaking athletes. This pocket exhibit also highlights the team’s meaningful connections to Central Florida. While the team’s popularity has grown nationwide, the athletes’ numerous ties to the local community make their achievements even more special for fans in the Orlando area.

At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Kandy's Sweetacular Celebration takes place during regular park hours, and is included with park entry on Saturdays and Sundays from September 7 to November 3. Celebrate Halloween with trick-or-treating, costume parades and more during this family-friendly event.

Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining, presented by Orlando Health, celebrates its 20th anniversary with a record 160+ participating restaurants during this year’s program, running from Aug. 15 through Sept. 30. This milestone year includes 26 new additions and 15 MICHELIN Guide-recognized restaurants, each offering three-course, prix-fixe menus priced at $40 or $60, plus tax and gratuity.
Continuing its tradition of giving back, a portion of every meal sold will benefit the REED Charitable Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to early childhood development and literacy.

The pool symbolizes luxury and leisure in America, and it has been captivating artists since the 1950s with bright sunlight, vibrant colors, and modernist architecture. The exhibition features artists who emerged in the mid-20th century, yet their themes of pool culture, class, and leisure remain strikingly contemporary. This is further emphasized by the younger generation of artists reclaiming the narrative of the pool in relationship to family, like Amy Bennett and Isca Greenfield-Sanders, and within more social, environmental, and civic contexts, such as Derrick Adams, Anastasia Samoylova, Jay Lynn Gomez. These themes, so relevant to our lives today, will engage and connect with visitors at Mennello Museum of American Art.

World Music / Hispanic Heritage Month at Timucua Arts Foundation: Since its origins ten years ago, the evolution of Cortadito has led them to become one of the torch bearers of a pop culture phenomenon that is two centuries strong. A traditional folk and acoustic band that focuses on performing one of the earliest styles of Cuban country music known as Son (pronounced sOwn), their sound can best be described as reminiscent of the famed Buena Vista Social Club. Through their many interpretations of traditional and original songs, this dynamic ensemble leads audiences through an audio experience referred to as “The Guajiro Triangle” by group co-founder and producer Jose Elias.

Red Bull Tandem Rollercoaster is a wild ride like no other and it's coming to Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs! The water obstacle course will be navigated by teams of two riding a non-motorized rollercoaster-themed craft built on a tandem bike frame! The 30 fearless teams, chosen from more than 300 applications, will compete on custom, rollercoaster-themed tandem bicycles across a 300-foot obstacle course over water with drops as high as six feet. Teams will be judged on creativity, showmanship and distance.
