The annual tradition continues at Orlando Shakes with the return of one of Central Florida’s favorite holiday classics! The miserly and miserable Ebenezer Scrooge greets each Christmas with a “bah humbug,” until he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.

A Christmas Carol takes to the stage at Orlando Shakes on select dates from November 26 - December 24, 2025.

A Christmas Carol is a holiday story with an uplifting theme of generosity toward others. It is most appropriate for 3rd graders and up. If it were a movie, A Christmas Carol would be rated “PG.”
Children under 5 will not be admitted to the theater.
A series of special performances will take place during the run of this years holiday production at Orlando Shakes.
On Wednesday, November 26 there will be a Pay What You Will Preview. This performance is “pay what you will!” We thank you for anywhere you can pay any amount you wish.
On Friday, November 28, Orlando Shakes will host their popular Massey Services Opening Night Party. The party starts at 6 pm with dinner options, drinks, live entertainment, and a pre-show talk with the creative artists at 6:30 pm.
An Audio Description Performance will happen on Saturday, December 6 at 2 pm. Using a headset connected to a receiver, patrons can listen throughout the performance as trained audio describers provide live, verbal descriptions of actions, costumes, scenery, and other visual elements of the performance. Audio describers start pre-show notes approximately 15 minutes before the performance begins
In addition to the Audio Description Performance, an ASL Interpreted Performance will take place on Wednesday, December 17 at 7:30 pm. At this performance, there be a designated section of our audience that provides patrons with a clear view of the ASL interpreters and the stage so as to not miss a moment.
Then, everyone can enjoy a Holiday Pajama Party on Tuesday, December 23 at 7:30 pm. Get cozy in your favorite pajamas and join us for a magical and musical spectacle at Orlando Shakes.
