Sunset at the Zoo returns to Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens this Friday, Septrmbe, 22, 2023.
Sunset at the Zoo has been taking place on the fourth Friday of every month from May to September, with the zoo opening at 5 pm, with lots of fun until the sun goes down, including music, inflatable games and of course the chance to see some favorite animals after the heat of the day.
Sunset at the Zoo allows friends and families to enjoy some extra-hours fun—but with an added twist as this years event will be celebrating the connections that inspire people to take action for wildlife, while also forging connections with different cultures in our communities.
Join the Sanford zoo at the last Sunset At The Zoo for this season, with this Friday's event celebrating Hispanic culture, complete with activities, food and educational opportunities.

Live music provided by Joey & Jenny Duo Tasty food truck options like The Bruja’s Table and A Lo Cubano Kitchen Plus other one-night only food options DJ Darren spinning your favorite tunes Themed crafts & family activities
“The Zoo is a place for the community, and we want it to feel welcoming to all communities and cultures,” said Richard E. Glover, Jr., the Zoo’s CEO. “We’re very excited to roll out this newly imagined version of our favorite summer event and look forward to celebrating with our patrons.”
Last admission for the event is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 per person when purchased online and $8 per person at the gate.
