Right now if you are planning on flying SouthWest Airlines today, the chances are you will be severely delayed.

All Southwest Airlines flights have been grounded nationwide for hours, due to what Southwest have called a 'computer glitch' and although flights are once again resuming, the knock on effect following more than 1500 flights being grounded are going to be huge.

At 11.20 am Southwest Airlines issued the following travel advisory:

"We’ve resumed operations this morning following a pause in service. Please visit online to check your flight status and explore self-service options as we work to restore operations and accommodate disrupted Customers as quickly as possible."
