Seminole County hosting Annual Touch-A-Truck Event to kick off Severe Weather Awareness Week

The Seminole County Office of Emergency Management will once again hosting its annual Touch-A-Truck Event on Saturday, February 1, 2025, to kick off Severe Weather Awareness Week!


Families, kids, and community members are invited to come and check out the trucks, boats, helicopters, and other special heavy equipment that local agencies use during severe weather events and other emergencies.


The fun, free event is taking place at Sanford Riverwalk, E Seminole Blvd. and Palmetto Ave.



Seminole Counties Annual Touch-A-Truck Event will feature fire trucks, police & fire helicopters, emergency management boats, utility trucks, and more.

Hosted by Seminole County Office of Emergency Management, this annual event always draws big crowds, and in addition to the trucks, families can discover how to prepare for the uocoming Hurricane Season.
