The Georgia Thunderbolts will headline the free Rock N’ Blues Concert and Car Show on Memorial Weekend on Saturday, May 27, from 4 - 9 p.m. at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry.

The five members from Rome, Ga., were formed in 2015 and released their debut album “Can We Get a Witness” through Mascot Records in 2021.

The band – T.J. Lyle, Riley Couzzourt, Logan Tolbert, Zach Everett, Bristol Perry – began as high school classmates of Couzzourt and Perry and then added Everett and then the others.

They began touring with Black Stone Cherry, the Kentucky Headhunters and Blackberry Smoke.

Opening for the Georgia Thunderbolts will be the Steeln’ Peaches, a rising star popular band, and Debbie D and Vintage Now, sponsored by the Orange Blossom Blues Society.

Besides the music, there will be more than 150 classic cars, muscle cars, and hot rods for car enthusiasts to enjoy, with a contest for best car.

As part of this Memorial Weekend celebration, the city will again honor all veterans for their service with a color guard display and plaque.

More than 20 food, beverage, and product vendors will be on hand.

General parking is available at surrounding businesses. Disabled parking is available in front of the Casselberry Police Station.
