Reimagined Test Track reopening date set for July at EPCOT

Walt Disney World has announced the date that the reimagined Test Track will open to guests.

Buckle up for a brand-new experience when a reimagined Test Track presented by Chevrolet races into EPCOT soon!

The new spin on the fan-favorite attraction – Test Track presented by General Motors will reopen on July 22!  This attraction update will debut an all-new musical score, as well as new scenes that highlight technology making our cars smarter and our lives more fun.  

Walt Disney Imagineering has collaborated with Chevrolet to push innovation forward and celebrate humanity’s enduring drive (pun intended) on the thrilling road to a brighter tomorrow!!

The reimagined Test Track will celebrate today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future. The queue will feature six distinct exhibits, and within each room celebrate the vehicles – and people behind the vehicles – that push the envelope and help get people to our next chapter in our motion journey. 

New show scenes have been added showcasing technological advances and how our lifestyles and relationships to mobility connect everyone. Guests will soon be able to enjoy a joy ride through scenes focusing on onboard technology, customization and personalization. Followed by a trip through a scenic outdoor route reminding us all of the joys of driving, taking in the world around us and spending quality time with friends and family.

Disney is hard at work on the finishing touches (detailing the final details, if you will), getting the attraction green light ready.  

Disney will be sharing information soon about special previews for cast members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak residents and Club 33 Members alike to ride before the attraction officially reopens.
