Quack! Quack! The Great Duck Derby returns to Mead Botanical Garden

Get your ducks in a row for the Great Duck Derby, retuning to Mead Botanical Garden.

The Great Duck Derby at Mead Botanical Garden

Gather up the ducklings for a day of family fun in Winter Park, as The Great Duck Derby returns to Mead Botanical Garden on Saturday, April 13, from 10 am - 2 pm.

This quack-tacular day of family fun is a spring-time tradition here in Central Florida, as hundreds of little yellow rubber ducks race around Mead Botanical Garden's pond while the crowds cheer the lucky ducks to the finish line to win cool prizes.

It’s just $5 to adopt a little race duck or you can adopt a Quack Pack, adopt four ducks and $20 and get a 5th duck free.

All proceeds from the Great Duck Derby benefit Mead’s children’s nature programs.

In addition to the duck derby, the day will be filled with lots of family fun, for all the family. Best of all, entrance to the garden is free as is parking, and all the fun activities.

Event fun includes…

Duckoration Station (decorate your little rubber racing duck)

Mr. Richard Sing-Along

Mr. Harley Sing-Along

Back to Nature Wildlife Animal Encounter

Bounce Houses

Face Painting

Magic Beans

Games and Crafts

Mobile Winter Park Library

UCF Bug Closet

Big yellow duck photo op area

and the Duck Races!
