Shock news this morning, Tuesday, April 11 from Universal Orlando Resort, as they have announced that Poseidon’s Fury in The Lost Continent at Universal’s Islands of Adventure will be permanently closing.
The last performances of the walk through show will be on May 9, 2023.
The attraction will be closing to make way for what Universal Orlando are calling “new entertainment,” but no further details have been revealed.
Poseidon’s Fury in The Lost Continent is a way through attraction where you follow an archeologist guide and venture through the ruins of the ancient Temple of Poseidon, Greek god of the sea.
But once you've journeyed far beneath the ocean, you're caught in a colossal battle between Poseidon and the evil Lord Darkennon. Fireballs burst, lasers flash, and water erupts around you in this spectacular special effects experience.
