PlantCon International is coming to Florida for the first time featuring over 100 booths, hands-on workshops and a keynote by physician-botanist Dr. Jeff Block.

A brand new convention is coming to Orlando! Aimed at plant enthusiasts, and celebrating all things plants, PlantCon International Orlando is scheduled for February 22-23, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando.
Following two successful years in Texas, the overwhelming support from the plant community has inspired PlantCon International to branch out to Florida.
PlantCon Orlando will feature a marketplace with over 100 local and international booths offering an extensive selection of plants and plant-related products. From rare to beginner-friendly favorites, PlantCon caters to a wide array of interests, including aroids, orchids, bonsai, aquatics, florals, cacti, edible plants, and much more.
We’re thrilled to bring PlantCon to Orlando for the first time," said Kenny Nguyen, founder of PlantCon International. "This expansion is a testament to the incredible support we’ve received over the past two years. Florida’s plant community is truly inspiring, and we’re excited to celebrate and contribute to the passion for plants. We can’t wait to share PlantCon with local plant enthusiasts and visitors from around the world!"
PlantCon Orlando will feature a keynote presentation by Jeff Block, M.D., a trusted professional physician-botanist and recognized expert in the fields of botanical medicine and horticultural science. Dr. Block, also known as “DocBlock”, brings over 25 years of clinical healthcare expertise and a deep knowledge of tropical ornamental plants. His keynote, titled "A Healthy Respect for the Powers of Plants... and the Incredible Ways They Engage Us!," will explore how plants interact with human senses and influence our perception and well-being.
PlantCon Orlando will also offer hands-on workshops and presentations led by industry experts, covering topics such as plant care, propagation, native plants, landscaping, and gardening. This event is designed to unite plant enthusiasts worldwide. The convention fosters connections, bridges gaps within the plant community and provides an inclusive platform for learning, sharing and growing together.
