Pickle! Winter Garden to host St Paddle's Day Community Pickleball Fest 2024

The city of Winter Garden is celebrating 10 years of pickleball by hosting a FREE community celebration at Veterans Memorial Park.

The City of Winter Garden Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate 10 years of pickleball by hosting its first FREE St. Paddle's Day Winter Garden Community Pickleball Fest featuring a three-day recreational Pickleball Tournament from March 14 - 16 for youth and adults, plus clinics and event on March 16 at Veterans Memorial Park, 420 S. Park Avenue.

Beginners, intermediate, and advanced players (ages 8 and up) will compete in the round robin tournament,

The tournament and clinics and event are all FREE, with spectators welcome!

The Community Clinics & Event will take place on the final day of the tournament: Saturday, March 16. Stop by for free pickleball clinics from local instructors and/or inquire about group lessons offered through the Winter Garden Parks and Recreation Department.

Youth / Men’s / Women's Doubles | Thursday, March 14

Mixed Doubles | Friday, March 15 & Saturday, March 16

Public Pickleball Courts Open Year-round

In case you did not know, there are 10 public pickleball courts at Veterans Memorial Park (420 S. Park Avenue) for community use. The courts are open daily 7 am - 10 pm for Open Play only.

The Parks & Recreation Department offers Pickleball Group Lessons throughout the year with the next session starting April 2. Register for lessons at https://enroll.wgplay.com.
