Oviedo Mall hosts “Summer Lovin’ Book Festival” celebrating all things romance on June 6th

This free community event celebrates all things romance books and will feature authors, workshops, panels, bookish vendors, a themed scavenger hunt, and more.

Love is in the air at Oviedo Mall as the Summer Lovin’ Book Festival takes over the mall on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11 am - 5 pm for a full day dedicated to romance books, passionate readers, and the growing bookish community in Central Florida.

The free event will bring together romance authors, readers, book lovers, and creative vendors for a celebration of storytelling in all its forms. Guests can meet authors, discover new favorite reads, shop unique bookish and handmade vendors, attend workshops and panels, and take part in activities throughout the day.

While romance is the heart of the festival, attendees will also find a selection of non-romance authors and books represented, ensuring there’s something for every kind of reader.

Featured workshop speakers include authors Taylor Simonds, Diane Kann, Lara Zielinsky, and more, with sessions designed to inspire both readers and writers alike. Topics will range from storytelling and genre trends to writing craft and reader engagement.

Guests can also participate in a special event scavenger hunt throughout the mall for the chance to win fun prizes during the festival.

In addition to authors and panels, attendees can browse a curated vendor marketplace featuring bookish merchandise, handmade crafts, art, accessories, themed gifts, and more.
