All Shook Up
February 16 - March 10

The Gardens Theater presents All Shook Up. It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who shakes up everything and everyone he meets. While the mayor of the town has imposed a law that prohibits loud music, public necking, and tight pants, the townspeople begin to step out of their humdrum lives to dare to experience something more. A jukebox musical loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and other works, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”

Ren Theater presents Milk
February 22 - March 10

A new (wild) play. Sorry, grandma. For Enrique - sorry, Ricky - everything is perfect about Dairy Frontier, the giant dairy corporation he works for that controls every aspect of his life. Only now he's being told that if he wants to be promoted to Executive Manager, he's going to have to jump through some pretty crazy hoops (we'd tell you more about that but we're trying to avoid spoilers). Egged on by his capitalistic and blood-lusting boyfriend, Ricky struggles to kill off his past while remaining loyal to the company he loves in this dark, campy comedy. Get details here.

But Vanda’s masterful performance flips the script, and the audition turns into a tango for dominance between actress and director. Get more details and tickets here.
