This nostalgic musical comedy celebrates the timeless songwriting magic of the legendary Neil Sedaka!  Set in a Catskills resort in 1960 this humorous and heartwarming musical follows two friends from Brooklyn in search of good times and romance over one wild Labor Day weekend.

Performed at Osceola Arts, married couple Larry and Jinx embark on a luxury cruise and meet an elegant celebrity couple. A seemingly superficial agreement soon leads to complications for the couple that may only be solved by infidelity. Seasoned sitcom writer Ken Levine (M*A*S*H, Cheers, Frasier) puts a modern twist on the classic screwball comedy for this play. Rated R.


Qualia

The first play in the Ren Theatre Companies 2024 new works series. Qualia is a sci-fi thriller written by local superstar Ashleigh Ann Gardner—you may remember her thrilling performance as Nosferatu’s scary Scottish vampire. Jullien Aponte (The Cocaine Play, and often seen behind the bar) joins a couple newcomers to the Ren: Megan Borkes and Jason Blackwater. If you’re a fan of “Black Mirror,” “Star Trek,” or “Sweet Tooth,” then you'll love Qualia.


Kids' Weekends at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

You’re invited to a celebration of friendship and fun at Busch Gardens! If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, check out FUNBOX at The Florida Mall. FUNBOX is 25,000 square feet of inflatable fun containing 10 play zones and an obstacle course. MEGACON Orlando 2024

MEGACON Orlando is the Southeast’s largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming event, attracting over 100,000 fans each year across four big days. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

The story of a gifted boy called Christopher. He investigates the killing of his neighbor's dog and in doing so has an adventure of self-discovery at Orlando Fringe ArtSpace.


Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow and Native American Festival

Enjoy the 28th annual Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow and Native American Festival at the International Market World Flea and Farmers Market in Auburndale. The event features crafts, intertribal dance competitions, historic village displays, workshops and over 60 exhibitors.


International Record Show

Giraffes Can’t Dance takes the Orlando Family Stage as our first professional production of the New Year. Gerald the giraffe has a problem. All the other animals seem to know how to dance. The warthogs can waltz, the rhinos can rock ‘n’ roll, even the chimps can cha-cha! Gerald, with his long neck and skinny legs, thinks he cannot dance.
