All Shook Up

The Gardens Theater presents All Shook Up. It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who shakes up everything and everyone he meets. While the mayor of the town has imposed a law that prohibits loud music, public necking, and tight pants, the townspeople begin to step out of their humdrum lives to dare to experience something more. A jukebox musical loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and other works, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”

Orlando Shakes presents Venus in Fur
February 7 - March 3

Sexy. Provocative. Hilarious. Hailed as “seriously smart and very funny” by The New York Times, Venus in Fur is a laugh-out-loud study of the politics of sex and power that’s guaranteed to charm and mesmerize. When Vanda arrives several hours late to her audition for a play based on a nineteenth-century erotic novel, the director is less than impressed. Let the good times roll with limited-time food, cocktails, entertainment and live music – Mardi Gras style at SeaWorld Orlando. Enjoy a pop-up parade with entertainers, bead captains, stilt walkers, and musicians, plus check out the sights and sounds of Bourbon Street will take over Wild Arctic Plaza with a DJ, street performers, and a dance party.


2024 Love Your Shorts Film Festival
February 15 - 18

The 2024 Love Your Shorts Film Festival at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center, Sanford presents an annual showcase of short films from Florida and around the world.

Individual films from $5 or $85 for a weekend pass.



152nd Silver Spurs Rodeo
February 15 - 18

One of Osceola County’s longest and most treasured traditions celebrates 80 years of dirt-pounding action. The Silver Spurs Rodeo is hosted every 3rd weekend in February, this event features all seven traditional rodeo events: bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, and barrel racing. In between all the rodeo action, there will be an act by a rodeo clown and our famous Silver Spurs Quadrille team, who perform a square dance on horseback. Well known as one of the best indoor rodeos of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), the Silver Spurs Rodeo in February draws contestants from all over the nation.



Orlando Ballet presents The Sleeping Beauty

One kiss — that’s all it took to awaken Princess Aurora from her century-long slumber and to meet her handsome Prince Desire. The Sleeping Beauty is timeless and cherished, which is why choreographer Christopher Stowell chose to retell through dance one of the world’s favorite fairy tales. Stowell’s choreography has a human touch that ushers the audience to a happy ending after its journey through good versus evil and love conquering over revenge. Renningers Florida Twin Markets in Mount Dora will host over 800 vendors selling antiques, collectibles, vintage, and more. The show is outdoors, under open air buildings, tents and includes the Indoor Antiques Center and the Street of Shops at the Antiques Center.

Celebrating its 80th year, Osceola County’s largest event will feature amusement rides, games, exciting exhibits, livestock shows, scrumptious fair food, and a demolition derby.

Mardi Gras at SeaWorld Orlando

Let the good times roll with limited-time food, cocktails, entertainment and live music – Mardi Gras style at SeaWorld Orlando. Enjoy a pop-up parade with entertainers, bead captains, stilt walkers, and musicians, plus check out the sights and sounds of Bourbon Street will take over Wild Arctic Plaza with a DJ, street performers, and a dance party.

The 2024 Love Your Shorts Film Festival at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center, Sanford presents an annual showcase of short films from Florida and around the world.

Individual films from $5 or $85 for a weekend pass.


152nd Silver Spurs Rodeo
February 15 - 18

One of Osceola County’s longest and most treasured traditions celebrates 80 years of dirt-pounding action. The Silver Spurs Rodeo is hosted every 3rd weekend in February, this event features all seven traditional rodeo events: bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, and barrel racing. In between all the rodeo action, there will be an act by a rodeo clown and our famous Silver Spurs Quadrille team, who perform a square dance on horseback. Well known as one of the best indoor rodeos of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), the Silver Spurs Rodeo in February draws contestants from all over the nation.
