Orlando has been crowned Best Foodie City in America for 2023 by personal finance website WalletHub.
Of course, this news is hardly a surprise to everyone who lives in, and visits Orlando, what with MICHELIN Guide restaurants, celebrity chefs and local James Beard honorees, not to mention family-friendly feasts, breweries, wineries, sleek lounges, gourmet food trucks, and more, you will never run out of amazing places to eat and drink in Orlando.
In the study conducted by WalletHub they looked at the restaurant scene in 182 cities across the country, examining data on a variety of categories including restaurants per capita, access to healthy food, restaurant meal cost, restaurant diversity, and more.
Not surprisingly, to come out on top, Orlando scored high in many of WalletHub's categories, including restaurants per capita, craft breweries and wineries per capita, affordability and accessibility of highly rated restaurants, gourmet specialty-food stores per capita, number of ice cream and frozen yogurt shops, and coffee & tea shops per capita.
