Orlando Magic's 2026-27 Regular Season Schedule released, opening at Kia Center on Oct. 21 vs. Atlanta

For the third time in the last four years, the Magic will start their regular season at home, with the Hawks being this season’s opening night opponent.

The National Basketball Association has released its 2026-27 schedule and announced the Orlando Magic will open the season on Wednesday, October 21 at Kia Center against Atlanta. Game time is 7 pm.
Single-game tickets for the 2026-27 season are on sale now via OrlandoMagic.com/tickets, at the Kia Center box office (located on Church Street), or via Ticketmaster at Ticketmaster.com/Magic. Orlando opens training camp on September 29 at the AdventHealth Training Center.
Orlando will have eight games featured on national television – one on NBC/Peacock (March 30 vs. New York), two on ESPN/ESPN App (March 10 @ Miami and March 28 vs. New York), four on Peacock/NBC Sports Network (November 16 @ Boston, December 14 vs. Philadelphia, March 22 vs. Indiana and April 5 vs. Miami) and one on Amazon Prime (March 13 @ Atlanta). Two of the Magic’s preseason games will also be televised nationally – October 11 @ Cleveland on ESPN/ESPN App (start time changed to 6:30 pm) and October 13 vs. Cleveland on Peacock/NBC Sports Network.
Cox Media Group (WRDQ TV 27, WFTV Channel 9) will serve as the team’s new over-the-air broadcast partner for the 2026-27 season. All regular season games, excluding national exclusives, will air on WRDQ TV 27, with select games also airing on WFTV Channel 9. Broadcasts will also be available throughout the Magic’s regional territory. The complete broadcast schedule and station lineup will be announced at a later date. The Magic will also announce a direct-to-consumer streaming partner in the near future. Games can also be heard on the Orlando Magic Audio Network (flagship: FM 96.9 The Game).
Orlando will play five games in October (two home, three away), 14 games in November (five home, nine away), 12 games in December (six home, six away) not including Emirates NBA Cup 2026 Knockout Round games (see Group Play schedule below), 17 games in January (nine home, eight away), 11 games in February (six home, five away), 15 games in March (eight home, seven away) and six games in April (four home, two away).
The Emirates NBA Cup 2026, the NBA’s fourth in-season tournament, will tip off on Friday, October 30. The Quarterfinals (Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5) and Semifinals (Tuesday, December 8 and/or Wednesday, December 9) will take place in team markets before the tournament concludes with the Championship on Friday, December 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Emirates NBA Cup 2026 will consist of two stages: Group Play and the Knockout Rounds. In Group Play, each team will play four designated Group Play games – one game against each opponent in its group, with two games at home and two on the road – on “Cup Nights,” which will take place every Friday from October 30-November 27, with additional Cup nights on Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25.
Orlando’s Emirates NBA Cup 2026 Group Play games are Friday, October 30 @ Toronto, Friday, November 13 vs. Milwaukee, Friday, November 20 @ Brooklyn and Tuesday, November 24 vs. Detroit.
Orlando will play a total of 18 home games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this season.
The 2026-27 Magic schedule also features 14 back-to-back contests (28 games played on consecutive nights; six away/away back-to-backs, four home/away back-to-backs and four home/home back-to-backs).
The Magic will have a season-long six-game homestand from February 25-March 9 (13 days). Orlando will be on a season-long five-game road trip from March 10-18 (nine days).
Orlando’s home finale at Kia Center will be on Friday, April 9 vs. Toronto (7 p.m.). The Magic will close the 2026-27 regular season on Sunday, April 11 at Miami (6 p.m.).
